He recently completed his tenure as General Manager of the Linux Phone Standards Forum (LiPS); previously, at Open Source Development Labs (OSDL) he served as Senior Technology Analyst and managed OSDL Mobile Linux and Carrier Grade Linux Initiatives. Prior to OSDL, Bill was a founding team-member at MontaVista Software, and was intrumental in establishing Linux as the leading platform for intelligent devices.
